Julia Hindel

Julia is an ELLIS PhD student co-supervised by Prof. Paul Newman and Prof. Daniele De Martini. She is primarily based at the Robot Learning Lab at the University of Freiburg, led by Prof. Abhinav Valada. Her research focuses on label-efficient and continual robotic perception using multiple sensing modalities, including radar, LiDAR, and cameras.

Before starting her DPhil, Julia completed her Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Maastricht University and conducted part of her research at Université de Montréal.
