Lukas Vierling

Lukas is currently an MSc student in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Oxford, where his thesis works on vision-language-action models (VLAs) for navigation.

Before Oxford, he completed his BSc in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University, including a visiting year at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Along the way he has held research roles at the PAIR Lab at Peking University, the Hong Kong Generative AI Lab at HKUST, and the Visual Computing Institute at RWTH Aachen. He has previously worked on AI safety, mechanistic interpretability, language agents, and 3D computer vision.
