
Monica Li
Monica is a PhD student at Polytechnique Montreal and a visiting researcher at MRG, working under the supervision of Prof. Daniele De Martini. Her PhD focuses on perception, where she is investigating methods for building a nerual implict SLAM system in a multi-agent setting.
Before starting her PhD, Monica was working at Pratt & Whitney Canada, Aeroport.ai and Tuninsight AI. She conducted her master’s thesis at Bishop’s University with human motion classification using graph neural networks and worked with Dr. Howard Leung in the City University of Hong Kong for handwriting pattern recognition projects. Before getting into the computer science research, she studied Accoutancy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and worked as an auditor at PwC.
